Happy Mother's Day! I have a huge update coming up soon, as well as a new layout and new reviews on the way. The video game page has been updated with more games to look out for as well as a new PS2 top ten.
Sony has released their plans for online gameing and have 30 games that will be ready for release once the Playstation BB network goes live in Japan. Here in the states, Sony has annouced that their internet adapter will sell for $39.99 and all games published by Sony will not require a monthly fee. Sony's HDD is still in limbo and none of the initially released online games will require it.
Be sure to check out the release dates pages. More new anime is on the way this summer (FLCL, Escaflowne movie, and Evangelion movies).
The 11th annual AnimeExpo will be held on July 7th this summer in Long Beach, click here to find out all about it, buy tickets, etc.

The new video game production company, Trilunar, has officially announced their first game, titled Dragonkind, for the Playstation 2 and Xbox consoles. It is scheduled for a 2004 release.
Comic fans will drool over this game since Joe Mad (co-founder of Trilunar) did most all the design art.

According to the official Cowboy Bebop homepage (cowboybebop.com), the English version of the film from Columbia Pictures' Destination Films will retain the principal dub voice actors from Bandai's release of the TV series. We can expect to hear more in the near future. 3/10/02-
Final Fantasy XI, a cash-burner or a minor investment? To find out more about Squaresoft and Sony's official prices and hopeful release dates click on the link: FFXI = cash?.
3/6/02-
According to several sources (one being Famitsu Magazine, another gamespot.com) Final Fantasy XI will be available May 16, 2002 in Japan for the retail price of 7800 yen (58 dollars). No official date for a US release has been announced, but EBgames.com says it should be out this November.
Microsoft's Xbox was released in Japan recently, but the amount of consoles sold were very disappointing. The Xbox only sold 123,334 units upon its Japanese release and gamers only bought 2 games a person or less.
The Xbox probably did so bad due to the very few games available for the system, and Microsoft announced that the edges of CD's and DVD's were being scratched by the Xbox.
Manga Entertainment company has completely redone their website. The also are now affiliates with sputnik7.com (best known for their streaming multimedia). Sputnik7 is showing anime movie trailers, full length anime shows, and movies (the current movie showing is Tokyo Revelation which will be released this summer. The movie is pretty good, but has some nudity, adult language, and deals with the occult). Visit the new Manga.com, click here http://www.manga.com/.

"Escaflowne," the movie, is now in select theaters here in the U.S. If you live in an area where it is showing you should go check it out. I have watched the Fansubbed version and it is better than the TV series was. In other words, it's one of the best anime movies around.
The Official Escaflowne Movie Website- click here According to AnimeNation.com, Columbia Pictures has claimed rights to the Cowboy Bebop movie in the US (the movie was just recently released for DVD in Japan, after a lengthy stay in theaters). So hopefully, the process of dubbing the movie has already started. I really want this one to be a major release, not a select theaters thing.
Some new animes have come to the US officially, most of them being some fansub favorites. They include Vandread, Ah! Mini-Goddess, Here and There Now and Then, SoulTaker, and Armitage. And one cannot forget, my personal favorite (besides Cowboy Bebop), Love Hina! Look for these titles in video stores and check 'em out.
